honestly in this manhwa : I AM SO GLAD JAIMIE DID NOT ROUTE ON ROMANCE & CLARIFIED IT. HE REALLY DID NOT GIVE ANY SUBTLE HINTS FOR IT. HE JUST DO PREFER HIS SINGLEHOOD NO ROMANCE INCLUDED. LIKE NO GIVING OTHER GIRLS FALSE HOPES ETC.
AND I FIND IT FUNNY EVERY TIME HE TEASES HIS DISCIPLES THAT THEY ACT LIKE A COUPLE SO THEIR TOKEN IS A COUPLE ITEM. VERY SUPPORTIVE LOL. FIRST SHIPPER.
AND EVERYTIME HE IS ON A BRINK OF DEATH OR TURNING POINT, HE HAS NO ROMANCE ANCHOIR ENLIGHTENMRNT. ONLY ALWAYS HIS FAMILY ON HIS MIND. ESPECIALLY THE RECENT CHAPTER ON THAT DEMON KING WRATH CORE.
HE MAINTAIN HIS GOAL THAT HE ONLY WANTS TO JUST GO HOME. TO BE WITH HIS FAMILY AGAIN. LIVE WITH THEM AS THEIR EVERYDAY WELTON LIFE.

I mean if you did that much for humanity and then saw all your companions being commemorated while your efforts were completely erased or distorted, wouldn’t you wonder why? Especially when it seems like someone is actively erasing him from history, not just the fact that people forgetting after 5,000 years.
I think the demons are doing it deliberately so there won’t be another Kyle. Since past heroes give the new generation hope and motivation, and humans are the easiest to erase because their lifespans are so short. So I don’t think he’s doing this just for “past honour”, he’s trying to figure out why his existence is being erased in the first place.
So far as I've read in the novel. Leo don't have any romance he just treat his classmates and friends practically like his grandchildens.
There are some of his classmates and seniors that has confirm relationship with others (I wont tell who but its the less likely perosn you'll think that can pull ladies *wink wink*).
The primarily reason he wants to try to tell people about him is first he suffered so much why cant he get credit (remember he is have that mean streak to him) cause the world was basically on its end that time and he had sealed erebus which restored the peace but then he eventually wanna make things right cause he think that he did a sloppy job of eliminating erebus cause he only sealed him and not k1ll him on his previous life and also he wanted to give proper credit to his comrade that without them he will not be able to seal erebus
He also knows that although he is currently experiencing peace, its not total peace unless he manage to take down the commanders of erebus cause will always be preparing for his Resurrection and whqat better way to prepare himself but to enroll at the academy where he can properly learn magic, swordsmanship and summoning and can give him the valid reason to be on the front lines. Tbh he doesnt care for recognition on thi life, he just wanted to finish what they (him and his friends) started(the completed subjugation of erebus) cause along with the powers that his friends entrusted to him was also their hopes and dreams for the peaceful future
