I liked this more than Run Away With Me, Girl! So that says something.

I'm super bias since I happen to love older artstyles, and 70's-90's is my favorite. Those sparkly eyes. One day I'll master them.

Point is, if you're trying to find a nice, short, dramatical ahh story.. This is for you. The pacing is sort of strange (another comment mentioned that and they're right) and the story is so short you can't really get attached to the characters, but it is a fun short little read if you're bored and looking for something to pass time with AND leave you traumatized.

The only character that did nothing wrong in this whole thing was arguably Reina's love interest (I forgot his name..) who truly just wanted to be with her- actually, I take that back. That one scene where he tried to kiss her was plain werid. Reina I suppose is also innocent- even if Maya admits she was at first trying to use her.

That twist was also pretty entertaining and made a disturbing amount of sense. Maya is blonde, her parents both have black hair, Maya's older sister is blonde. Checks out.

5/10. Short, gorgeous art, and an interesting plot + twist if you're willing to ignore incest (even if all they did was kiss.)

This is a mini-review of this story. Obviously, some spoilers.

This is a story that I feel you really have to be willing to take your time with. There's no such thing as just "speed-reading" this, because you're going to be left woefully confused.

It's.. a good manga if you like Seinen spefically and psychological aspects, albiet slow to start. The art is fantastic with plenty of moments being horrifying or disturbing to look at. Espically that last sex scene with Nananko/Reina/Nakoshi. What the fuck. Nakoshi's character reveals itself by the end of the manga, although I'll personally say he's at best during #1775 and Manaba's arc's, however disturbing they may be. Every homunculous is Nakoshi, and every Nakoshi is a homunculous.

In short, he's a narcissist (duh.) Read with that idea in mind and things make alot more sense.

7/10.

Spoilers, duh. Bro. Was I the only one here who found this manga to be like.. really dull? I don't really get the hype.. But besides that-

I FUCKING HATE DOUYAMA. I HATE THAT BITCH MORE THAN THE TAZUNE. TAZUNE HAD SOME (albiet incredibly braindead) REASON TO BE THE WAY HE WAS. But her?? Bro WDYM you're gonna confess to the man that you love him WHEN HIS PREGNANT FIANCE IS RIGHT THERE???

The level of disrespect. I wanted to slap her SO hard. And then when Midori says shes dumping Tazune, Douyama opens her dumb ahh mouth to say: "omg everything just WORKS out for you-you NEVER have to try!"

death. kill that hoe. (⌒▽⌒)'

Oh, and 3/10. I didn't like story at all. Why? Because not only is it honestly really lame and needed far more time to work- it reads like it was written by a very confused man who ALMOST got women right. Almost. Momo and Midori are on point, but the rest of the characters aren't and their reactions are what shows it.

This is a story that could've been better written if maybe given more time to be fleshed out is instead given to you in 3 volumes that don't have NEARLY the amount of time or consideration to give you a proper, engaging story. The first volume was okay, the second boring, and the third back to "okay" with a sex scene that was just.. why?

The art style also comes off as webtoonish. Could just be me, but I don't like it at all. Midori comes off as annoying and wishy-washy, Momo is the only relatable character, and the tragic attempt to make Tazune's abuse seem "like natural progression" or explain (without excusing) his trauma was pathetic.

Read it if you want a cute story about two lesbians that doesn't require much to really follow, but don't expect top of the shelf reading material.

3/10.
