I had high hopes for this story, but I couldnāt even enjoy this chapter. Both the uke and the seme really frustrated me.
Iām not trying to be biased. I do understand where the uke is coming from. Being turned into an omega without his consent is a huge violation, even if it was unintentional. It makes sense that he would hold a grudge. But the way he treats the seme is too much. He doesnāt see him as a person at all. He only views him as a cumdump and treats him with constant insults, bickering, and disrespect. Then he suddenly warms up and acts kind only when he wants the semeās cum for his judo career. That level of selfishness is hard to overlook.
As for the seme, I had a lot of sympathy for him at first. The transformation wasnāt done on purpose, and some readers saying he ādeservesā the poor treatment doesnāt sit right with me. Still, changing someoneās biology is serious, even if it was an accident.
At the beginning, I actually found it cute that the seme was trying so hard to prove his love and make the uke see him as more than just an alpha. He was even willing to embarrass himself. But that changed quickly.
The uke only agrees to go on a date so he can ask for the semeās cum again because of his competition. When the seme gets fed up and leaves, the uke suddenly acts pathetic, begging in the rain. Then another alpha shows up, takes him to a hotel, and almost has sex with him. The uke says stop, and that alpha actually respects it and stops.
Meanwhile, the seme starts ignoring him, which is completely understandable. If someone doesnāt treat you like a human being, why stay?
But then the seme shifts into being demanding and possessive, which made me lose all respect for him. They arenāt even together. He seems to think they are because of some childhood promise, but thatās not how it works. On top of that, he manipulates the uke into having sex, forces himself on him despite clear discomfort, tries to claim him, and might have marked him without consent. That was the final straw for me.
Iāve completely lost respect for both characters. I had hoped they would work through their issues. I wanted the uke to realize how poorly he was treating the seme, and for the seme to stop his toxic behavior. Instead, Iām left disappointed.
This story has already lost its spark for me after just seven chapters. I know a lot of people will disagree, but Iām seriously considering dropping it for my own sanity. I might try to push through and see what happens, but right now Iām very let down.
