I would like to ask u why u are reading yaoi and which gender do u identify yourself with?

Female, didn't know when it started but i read bl or shounen ai because i stumbled onto and it i enjoyed it. Makes me understand same gender relationships...
I myself am gay (male) but I didn’t start reading BL bc of that.. I actually came here bc I wanted to read ‘Who made me a princess’
I accidentally read a yaoi bc I thought it was a girl and a guy in the cover.. but it was two dudes AHAHHA.
Now I really just can’t read straight romance anymore. I like fantasy stories that have some romance but a full on romance I just can’t read.
The way I start reading bls is weird because first I started watching shoujo animes and then accidentally found bl anime and to my suprise I found out that they actually were adaptations of manga so this is how I started reading bls... It's been 3-4 years since I first came across with the bl genre and I've read a wide range of the them and I always thought that it's weird because I am girl (straight)... I still read straight ones though... I was so conflicted with myself but at the end it's all romance that I want to read about so I don't really care if it's sl or bl... I just need romance to read something ╥﹏╥
