The author did an excellent job portraying internal conflict, trauma, and emotional struggles, but what was that ending?
I needed more closure, especially for the other two characters. I understand that their roles were mainly to help the protagonist confront and overcome his trauma, but they deserved proper resolutions of their own as well. I wanted to know whether they were able to heal from their personal traumas, how they reconciled with each other, and what their lives looked like afterward.
There are so many unanswered questions and gaps left to fill. The emotional buildup throughout the story was strong, which is why the ending felt especially disappointing and incomplete.
Their relationship honestly feels confusing. They keep labeling it as father and son, but they act more like lovers, so it’s hard to make sense of it. Nanmu still sees Pilgyun as the little kid he once knew, and after Heeran died, he became scared of losing him too. Meanwhile, Pilgyun also sees Nanmu as a father figure since he calls him “dad” and introduces him that way to others. That’s why the dynamic feels so strange, they treat each other like family emotionally, but their actions say otherwise.

HOT! but why this chapter is so short
