Ml did barely any groveling and mc had way too much patience in dealing with the people at his job.
Also idk why a lot of the ending was cut, in the novel the mc goes hiking with the professor for like a week and since there's no signal up in the mountains he can't answer to any of the ml's texts. Ml in the meantime is going crazy with regret bc he found out mc's situation and he also realizes he acted like a jerk for dropping the news of huss fake dating.... I feel like this one had more potential but got wasted with a hurried ending
But imo his personality is just perfect for being in a relationship with someone like mc, they compensate each others well so who cares if he's a little obsessive compulsive
And I think he didn't care much about his past breakups bc he was comphet-maxxing (he always acted like he was expected to, like when he left home at 20 bc he thought it was time so dating women might have been the same) but now that he realized his feelings for mc he won't leave him as easily
Maybe I'm psychoanalyzing him too much? But after all the psycho mls I've come across this one seems the harmless kind

He had to choose between saving his little sister and the father who abandoned both. Tbh I doubt he had even a reason, good or not.
Proof of that is that he abandoned his children twice so it's clear he doesn't really care about them (unless some tragic backstory will be revealed later but the outcome still doesn't change)

It's not like their affection for each others felt fake but the ending feels too open for me, they didn't even confront their feelings properly
He was lying, the same way the hero lied earlier on that he was faking It all. So the ending is not open, they both love each other
But that 'disgusting' comment was like shooting himself in the foot lmao can't wait to reach the scene in which mc tells him he wants to confess to someone and see him agonizing about it >:)
