The artist has a knack for drawing intimate scenes, especially the snu was sooo sexy!
The artstyle in general was chef kiss tbh and i LOVED ml's secretary, the true mvp of this story
The plot was ok, i liked the whole reuniting after x years and getting together, though did I get it right? The ml dated and married the same girl mc introduced to him as his gf during college??? That kinda turned me off, and also how mc was almost assaulted by that colleague and ml got upset instead than making sure about what happened....
how mc isn't the usual protagonist who forgives everyone and moves on with no grudges, he has a right to leave things in the past but why should he also accept half assed apologies? He's got both a job he likes and a man he loves so why looking back and regret lol
But also jieun the queen she is for calling out that pathetic loser, tbh I disliked her for hurting mc but I feel like forgiving her a bit since she did it to avoid outing mc. In a way she saved mc from ending up in a relationship with that sundae which would have gone 100% terribly
Such a pity, especially bc I wanted to see mc having the upper hand in the relationship like in the novel :((( honestly we deserved to see more of pathetic loserboi ml
It's been a while but iirc ml was pretty anxious, like separation anxiety? And when mc's brother got married and mc got the whole apartment for himself ml asked him to live together but mc refused (mostly bc he isn't used to serious relationships and his love for ml actually cooled down a lot, basically him asking to date was a tentative to see how the relationship would go)
Ml is hurt by the refusal and sulks for days, he is also jealous bc mc has to meet someone but wouldn't say who... (it was jaeoh and they met to have closure)
There are chapters with ml's pov of the whole story and him reflecting on how he took for granted mc's blind devotion bc now he sees the difference, at the same time he feels like he can't blame mc bc he hurt him a lot
In the end they reconcile thanks to mc coming to terms he's ready to have a serious relationship with ml, he admits to himself his feelings changed from ardent love to a more calm one, but it's still love (he never says i love you back back to ml though, he is the type to show with actions)
Novel ends with mc and ml preparing to go to work since they live together now, mc is again ml's secretary. Before leaving the house mc asks ml if he still has the watch he had bought him and he decides to wear it instead of the keepsake
There were also parts explaining ml's past and how the grandfather bribed his past lover to leave him and pushed him to get married for convenience, ml accepting to give his shares to the sister so that he would be left out from the successor competition etc, some small things that closed some loose ends which manhwa left open
OH and I remember a funny scene in which ml takes mc out on a date to see ballet but the story portrayed is similar to what happened to them (a woman loving a man but the man cruelly rejecting her to marry an arrogant but rich woman, just to regret his choice in the end)
It was funny af bc while mc enjoyed the ballet a lot and wanted to go again, ml was sweating buckets lol he felt like he was watching his past actions on a stage

I was stuck at ch 5 for like a week bc of second hand embarrassment lmaooo why am I like this
But overall a cute story!
