Someone said this reminded them of Reunion, so I got excited to read this, but now that I’ve finished it, it kinda reminds me more of The New Recruit (the tension between a senior and a junior, plus them being in a secret relationship, and one story being heavy on business while the other is heavy on law)
I could see this not being everyone’s cup of tea bcuz ML is a hard nut to crack, and I can only see MC being the only on able to handle him lol
Nonetheless, it’s a great slow burn story, and I think it was paced pretty well. You just gotta be patient with ML like MC to enjoy this haha ^^’
Saw the poster and thought it was gonna be something dark but nope comedy from start to finish even in serious/sad moments lol
Yk what… I’m just glad the brother lived cuz I almost quit reading when I reached that nightmare part where he got shot sleeping in his bed, it would’ve been the worse ending for a character if it did happen cuz that man deserved better, and no, I’m not upset that mc didn’t choose him, he deserves someone better than him honestly TT
If there’s one thing good about this story is the artstyle it’s so pretty…

Feels so good to read something this amazing after reading something so bad. I think it ended perfectly (but also would love some fluffy/happy side stories after all that haha)
Didnt expect the first sex scene to be bestiality i got horrified
Before I talk about it overall, I just wanna say I don’t like that scene where the god who can absorb powers questioned the father about whether he hurt his child, like why was there blood on his hand during the flashback??? How did he even find out his son had powers?? Whatever happened, I’m just glad he’s dead.
Now overall I think the story could’ve been written better. The concept is cool, but the writing wasn’t the best. The pacing is off and everything happens way too quickly. We barely get to know the characters and they already somehow fell in love (in like 10 chapters?).
Should you read it? Why not. It isn’t the worst story to exist, but don’t expect much.
I did enjoy the comedy, and I love MC I think he’s funny, but that’s really it. I don’t have any attachment to the characters. I don’t know if it’s the characters themselves or the art, but they don’t express their emotions very well lol.
Lastly, the first obstacle in their love story was so frustrating to read because of that god of sexual assault. I honestly wish he would’ve died or at least punished instead of being let go c:

I cant believe im forgetting the story already but it was only implied that MC was assaulted by a guy in the past and there's the 2nd ml sexually assaulting MC once or twice (most unlikeable character) but hes out of the pic in like 20 chapters
Theyre so chaotic and adorable I love them TT now I wanna see them as parents i need to see their triplets!!!!
