see this is why i wish they actually delved into the plot point of heowoon being a whistleblower and the whole drug ring case because now there is nothing really happening in the story other than them being all cute which is FINE but i just wish something else was happening alongside it to make things interesting
i quite liked the fact that jiwan is clearly a flawed character who is a product of the homophobic abuse he had experienced growing up. to me, it didn't feel like the story was trying to justify his shitty actions by showing us his past but rather, offer an explanation as to why he ended up running away. and i think it's because taeyang knows this about jiwan, that he tries to pursue jiwan a second time and makes it clear that if jiwan pushes him away now, then he really would give up. anyways, i enjoyed this a normal amount. it was really cute how baby taeyang called big taeyang "dad" at the end!
we finally get the answer to what happened to the drug related plotline and i won't lie i'm kind of disappointed because the entire conflict is essentially resolved off screen like what do you mean heowoon only tells yoonwoo about being a whistleblower when yoonwoo catches the story on the news lol it just all feels awfully convenient in order for the third season to be all about the fluff idk
some real goonslop but it's fine. strangely, i really wanted the seme to kill himself in the end and traumatize the uke forever.

just an overall solid story that felt thought-out from start to finish. i enjoyed the comedy and the romance. the characters were charming and i thought they had really good chemistry with each other. i just feel warm and gooey inside.

it's cute seeing them all loved up but i'm sitting here wondering how and why heowoon is out of prison all of a sudden i thought the prosecutor had a lot of dirt on heowoon as part of the drug case so i am hoping there is some drama and conflict up ahead i need the happy ending to be EARNED

i won't lie the plot itself is kinda nothingburger but i really like yoonwoo and heowoon's relationship and the banter they have with each other. it's understandable why yoonwoo finds heowoon a comforting presence in his otherwise dreary life, the guy is just fun and lighthearted. i only wish the story had spent more time with them instead of focusing on side couples.
the art is really pretty and i looooooove the uke's character design but unfortunately the plot feels half-baked and barely existent ಥ‿ಥ
