I like toxic romance so i was prepared for that but this felf off.
I think there's an odd lack of acknowledgement by both dan and Jae on what Jae did to Dan.
It's like neither of them nor the author considered him raping Dan to be rape. And everytime either one of them looked back on it, the mindset seems to be Jae was so mean and scary and nothing else.
Correct me if I'm wrong but what's the point of having stuff like that there if it doesn't affect the story whatsoever?
I genuinely feel so little about them getting back together atp.
I wanted him to suffer more. I wanted her to be left alone.
Idky I feel this way. I usually love 'woman suffers > woman leaves > man regrets > man chases/yearns/ begs > woman forgives' stories
Maybe the chase was just unsatisfactory.
