As an Brazilian I really love the references of this series
The quote from this chapter, "if you're out in the rain, you're bound to get wet" (se tá na chuva é pra se molhar) really got to me, 'cause it's such a common thought here in Brazil (like, we're known for being really adaptable people and for facing daily challenges without a second thought even when the odds are against us — daily life in Brazil is just crazy, lol), and it used to be a really famous saying back in my grandparents day, maybe in my parents as well, but our generation don't exactly say that anymore, we just kind of assimilated this thought and use it everyday. But the way he said it in this chapter really gave this "old" motto such a profound tone and a beautiful weight, I'm obsessed!
