guys as someone who read the novel dw there is actual romance!! it’s just a slow burn but they do kiss and have cute moments it’s just plot focused
Their first kiss is very close to happening, and after that they'll make out several times. They haven't slept together yet, as far as I've read, but it wasn't for lack of trying on their part.
