People are legit writing paragraphs of bs how « it’s not that bad » or how it needed to be more developed. What?? Slavery should not be a topic for a ROMANCE fictional story, this bl isn’t even historical it just got poorly based on the civil war, and people bringing in other bl, rape and other stuff legit lost the plot of why we hated and tried cancelling this bl. Yes these things are as bad and should also get hate but it became the norm in bl, and we don’t want that to happen with slavery trop. Were fighting for this so that slavery isn’t normalized like these rape, non based slavery, etc trop. Im white and directly knew that was straight out racism, worst thing is the bl under the green light was such a master piece.
