There are even cases where the novel is better. For example, there are some scenes/stories that weren't included in the manhwa. Or the manhwa doesn't follow the plot 100% like the novel, or the manhwa feels faster than the novel.
But if all of that doesn't matter to you, then please do read the novel. Because the novel will definitely be more exciting and will make you even more enthusiastic when reading the manhwa.

Anyway thats what i feel after read the novel of: all 'passion' series, healer, etc.
I think that's what a manga reader feels after getting disappointed by the anime adaptation after waiting so excitedly.
