The politics of this story are certainly... something. It's been interesting to try and figure out what the hell the author is trying to say. Clearly the aliens seem to be colonists and a lot of the actions they have taken and story beats align with that thought, fake saviors(possibly), spreading disease, overtaking culture, more rights than the indigenous. But on the other hand the wording has been absurdist and foreign readers (not sure about jp readers and i cant read jp so idk if wording is different) can interpret the aliens as "foreign aliens", refugees, foreigners. And that reading of the manga from that perspective is chauvinist and nativist? So i have no clue where the hell the author is going with this but its certainly an interesting read. Interested to see where this goes haha

Omg I love this story so far, very fun, good story, amazing art, cant wait for more
