It's not a perfect story bc she makes a lot of mistakes and he's trash. But she was raised pampered and then marries the ML who faked his entire personality through years of dating before marriage. And bc of his back story there is zero chance his real self came out during their dating period. So by the time we pop into the story she's been worn down over years of marriage with him. She's pretty much broken when the story begins. So it's a lot of pain, a lot of growth, and a lot of stumbling to try and be better than what he made her into.
The ending is so realistic it hurts. People by nature just want the pain to stop and will acclimate to their environment over time. If there's no way out, adapt and accept it. Not everyone can overcome. And regular people will usually give in.
So it hurts. Mc is a regular person and can't compete with a god...so he just accepts it.
