Some of us have read the novel you know... It doesn't make it fair what he does to Michele and Katya who weren't even alive when shit was happening to him in the past

While i agree that it isn't fair to them, he was ripped off of his innocence by the very man who birthed the man he is supposed to marry. I cannot defend him for being mean to katya but i absolutely get why he is the way he is to michele

"the man he's supposed to marry" but it was Ian himself who organized the wedding through letters lol I'd understand more if he just went to the south and massively shot down every Anatold family, instead the mental torture, sexual assault and murder plans he's inflicting on the only one innocent member of the family makes no sense to me. And if he didn't know before he knows now Michele isn't the usual stuck up noble, he was able to fall in love with a servant regardless of social standings and Ian knows Michele's been sold off regardless of his wellbeing and kept in the dark of their sordid deeds by the rest of the family.

Ooohh so Michelle's father is a rapist, and Ian was raped and abused by him? And then Ian went and killed the father, the brothers, and now he wanted to kill Michelle originally, but then then he didn't, and Ian decided to just fuck with him mentally and shit, now he's conflicted what he should do with the son of the man who ruined him.
Then accept people will dislike Ian no matter what happened to him in the novel because he is mostly taking out his anger on innocent people rather than guilty ones

Michele's 2 out of 3 brothers are still alive, they sold him to Ian
everytime I see someone hating on ian I have this unquenchable urge to just spoil the novel
They'll feel the pain in due time

WTF???
I now understand why Ian stated that Michele is naive, like bro didn't even know his family is evil
That's in the manwha too lol iirc the first few chapters talk about the arranged marriage and the brothers using Michele to get money from Ian
