The banging is being exaggerated and the tears was just an act to get them out. The novel literally mentions that she was picking her nose to make her voice distorted and she poured water in her eyes and rubbed them to make it red. If you read the novel you will come to know just how much Varia loves leo and adore and respects the father-daughter relation. The way she got angry after knowing Leo birth secret and the amount of time Leo had to assure Varia that Leo wants Varia to become her mom....
The relationship between them three is so beautiful and hilarious. Both Varia and Ferio will put Leo before anyone else, heck even before themselves!!
Thank you for putting the link to the chapter. I see that in the novel Leo is really loved, but I don't really see it in the manhwa( I mean we do see some scenes but I feel like they aren't portrayed like in the novel) . And the romance feels rushed and forced in the manhwa. Idk, it's maybe just me who thinks that. And Leo is really mischievous, she was like" 5 days is enough for now, you need to get out and give me attention " and she is so real for that
