Adopt as in like “I’ll take u under my name”, not adopt as in “he’s my child”
not really. in asian countries since there is no same-sex marriage ppl adopt their partners so they could consider as family in someway. this is helping them things like inheritance, information on emergency health issues, sharing finances. it’s from reality
girl please this isn't fantasy land where same sex couples get to marry everywhere
they can’t get legally married so at least through adoption they can still be “family” and have the same legal ties that a married couple would also have
