At first, this made me confused because some of the scenes felt cut off. I mean, they were kinda not connected? But now it makes sense, and I finally know what’s happening in the plot. It is really interesting because of the mystery, and it totally got me hooked. I just can’t wait anymore, I want to read more and find out what really happened to them. The suspense is killing me. I came in confused, stayed confused for a while, and now I’m emotionally invested and demanding answers immediately. Please, I need the next chapters right now.

It’s honestly a good read and definitely worth to read. The only thing is that the ending felt a bit rushed to me, like they had to wrap everything up too quickly. But overall, I still enjoyed it a lot. And can we talk about the MC? He’s such a badass confident, demanding, and absolutely refuses to let anyone walk all over him. Meanwhile, we have a total puppy-like top who’s loyal, affectionate, and impossible not to adore. I’ve also read the author’s other work, Best Left Unwritten, and that’s absolutely worth reading too! It’s more of a slow burn, but the payoff is really satisfying.

At first, I honestly thought I wasn’t going to like this because there are so many tops, and that’s usually not my thing. I’ve dropped a lot of stories with a similar setup before. But somehow, this one completely hooked me. Each top has such a distinct personality that you’ll end up liking some, hating others, and questioning your own preferences along the way. But as the story progresses, you can’t help but get invested. The action scenes are amazing, and the art alone was enough to keep me reading. Overall, it’s still a pretty decent read for me. And if I had to choose between Profundis and Slammer Dogs, I’d pick Profundis without hesitation. Sorry, but I really just couldn’t get into Slammer Dogs.

40. The only thing I can say is… THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!! The art is absolutely mesmerizing! The MC and ML are so pretty ARGHHHHH!!! (Whew… gonna calm down, sorry. ) Seriously, every time there’s a close-up shot, I spend a good five minutes just staring and appreciating the details. And their lips??? Why are they glowing like that??? What lip gloss are y’all using?! But beyond the visuals, the dialogue is so beautifully written. Every line hits straight to the heart and feels incredibly poetic. The ending was meaningful, emotional, and perfectly executed. And the song that accompanied it… oh my God. Listening to it made me teary-eyed because of how beautiful and surreal it felt. I genuinely have no words. Absolutely breathtaking from beginning to end.

It made me cry. This love triangle will definitely make you feel everything sadness, anger, frustration, confusion, and irritation but somehow, you’ll still end up loving it. I know a lot of readers got annoyed with Jooin because of his indecisiveness and rooted for Cain while hating Yahwi. But honestly, if you set aside your personal bias and try to understand everyone’s perspective, especially Jooin’s, you’ll see why he struggled so much. He wasn’t playing with anyone’s feelings he was genuinely trying to sort out his own, and in the end, he made his choice clear and gave closure to both sides. Justice for Cain? Always. But understanding Jooin and Yahwi made me appreciate the story even more. Emotional damage: 100/10.
