I just realized that the updates here are more on bl/yaoi. It's like this was made for that (=・ω・=)
It pretty much is a mainly bl and yaoi site lol, but there are plenty of others the updates are just slower due to the crack down on pirating
That's because of the explosive popularity of BL stories, which drives the algorithm to show them more than other series.
And don't believe the person above me. I've been on this website a very long time and I remember when BL was just a niche genre here. One of the biggest reason so much BL is uploaded here is because in the old days (when there weren't so many "free" manga sites) there were stigmas attached to having BL on a site or the site was age restricted for people who wanted to read/access BL -- something MGO does not do. Which led to old scanlation teams to finding this site and uploading here without those restrictions or snubbing.
Oooh (▰˘◡˘▰) that is why. Well anyways I'm happy that this site is active and especially the comment section here. Hoping they upgrade that in every chapter there's a comment section
MGO tried the different comment sections for each chapter, but it wasn't feasible with the bandwidth ($$$) available back then, so when they finally upgraded the website they did away with it. Just a single comment section for all. (^◡^ ) I see a lot of people now with that wish, so I assume y'all are from BTO and miss that style of commenting. As for me, I wish the MGO engineers would add horror and action categories to the main pages, which is what I read more these days.
Yeah. I'm also into that, especially the one I'm reading rn "classmate" and No bash ┗( T﹏T )┛ If they can update the site homepage with different genres, because most of it is bl/yaoi and yuri.
