Usually I’m one of those people that tends to prefer the side couple over the main. And I do really like the side couple in this BUT I’m just not sure why it’s such a big thing in this story considering the main couple is literally singlehandely moving the plot forward. I would understand if this wasn’t a story with a lot of depth, but the world building is extremely significant in this. So for all those saying they only want to see the side couple. Are you reading this with your eyes closed or? Cos I’m not sure how this story can progress without our main. I think yall might be better off looking for the side couple dynamic in a more shallow story or just reading fanfiction instead.
Last point, I also find the side couple cute but is it really that deep? They aren’t even in my top 20 couples so I’m not sure why people are going crazy for them. Am I missing something?
First off great point main couple is definitely the ones moving the plot along, if it weren't for them the plot whould be nowhere and we would know nothing. As for wanting to only see the side couple, and this is my own opinion , so take you with a grain of salt but I personally would like it if they hade their own spin off or something, I was originally only here for the main characters, but as the story and art style progressed, they made mc more and more of a twink sorta? Im not sure how to explain it but i would have been fine with it if they started him off that way its the fact that they did it after i got attached to him and his character. At the same time they introduced an uncommon side character trope. Idk if you find their trop often but for me ive hade a hard time finding mangas where the uke is both portrayed as cute but at the same time scared most of the time if they have scars or disabilitys they are form a gang/mafia and are super built or their scars are magically/reincarnated away if they're cute. So its nice to see that. I think thats why you see a lot of people wishing the side characters where the main characters.

And I genuinely dislike how the article changed ( I avoid stories where the uke looks like a twink or is written to be infantilized) so I share those sentiments with everyone else. But I also think a big part of why I’ve love this story is the world building so when people only speak about the side couple it feels like they’re looking for a story without the depth of the world which I think is the biggest and most extensive part of the story, followed closely by our main characters. Currently on ch 27, and I’m sorry but Nanjo is a villain in this. Like technically Sunwha isn’t innocent. But Nanjo is just a walking menace ruining everything he touches. I would never want anyone like this near me in the real world. Everything they touch crumbles and turns to shit. This is also giving coerced ntr vibes and blackmail. But people are blaming the twink as if the top isn’t doing the same thing, just because he’s the canon ship. Very hypocritical imo.
