I'm gonna be totally honest here, I've been following Codename Anastasia's manhwa since the first chapters back in 2023, because I really love the story and the characters. But this dynamic is really tiring for us readers. Season 1 had multiple hiatus and from season 1 to 2 the hiatus lasted more than a year. And now that season 2 is on going, each month we have more and more hiatus throughout the chapters.
This project has been going on for so many years that I think it reached a point where the author doesn't really want to keep publishing the story anymore. She still publishes the chapters but each new chapter seems to be made in a really rushed out way and it's not showing the complexion of the story neither the characters development anymore.
I understand it's though for her as an author, but it's really tiring for us, as fans, who've been waiting for so long. And I know some might say "Why don't you read the novel then?" because it's fxcking different. Using my imagination and seeing drawings it's completely different.
Anyways, that was a rant I've been holding on for long, and I hope there's fans out there who agree with my point of view.
Yess I agree, why not draw half season before realising first episode. But I do think it isn’t an author fault but the publisher they should manage her better. I heard a lot about those companies they overworked their artists putting a lot of stress on them and to many projects no wonder they can’t meet their deadlines and chapters look half made.
I feel like with the long hiatus they could have taken the time to slowly have buffer episodes for when things happen some things are already done.
They cant even keep up with the main story yet u want a buffer?

THIS IS THE WORSE, SICKEST AND MOST TOXIC STORY EVER
This was actually my third time trying to read this manhwa because it's very popular, but all the times I tried to, I couldn't pass through chapter 10 because it is so disgusting and abusive.
In the past I've read the Sadistic Beauty BL side story and it was really tough to finish because it's really hardcore, so I thought this one couldn't be as bad, since it's from the same author. I was wrong, of course.
Even tho I felt uncomfortable, I tried to keep reading, till I reached chapter 25. That's where I've reached my limit. This manhwa is full of r4pe, gaslighting, manipulation and it has g4ng r4pe, in a VERY detailed way for 3 CHAPTERS straight.
Really, I feel so bad I almost threw up after reading those chapters and I don't think I'll be able to forget this trauma for a while.
I just have to say the author must be a real psycho and it should be a crime to draw something like this.
So please, if you are sensitive, DO NOT read this sh1t.
I am feeling very sick and regretful right now.
