i read most of this in one sitting so i prob don't have the best judgement of this, considering it's all jumbled up in my head.
goddamn it, certain parts of it were so good like the yearning and the angst (as far as i can remember) but the dubcon and the usual mid to slop yaoi smut with the classic top who keeps going even if the bottom is telling them to stop AND THE GODDAMN WEIRDASS "FULL-CIRCLE/CHILDHOOD WTV" CHAP WAS NOT IT. so yeahhh, such a shame.
it's over now so at least there's no risk of it getting worse, but it's so sad to think of the countless manhwas out there that could've been peak if it was js uprooted from what's considered the industry norm.
real. "it's not that deep," says the people who refuse to look further into it and complain when ppl actually take the time to take part in even the slightest amount of discourse abt the thing that they like bcs they're so afraid of the glass box they're currently in possibly shattering and ruining the illusion.
i've seen more than one person now saying they're grossed out by the fact that he had sex or a relationship after them parting ways.
i get that it's a preference and i also don't rlly like it when an ml for example js starts taking out his frustration by getting with other ppl and sleeping with them as a way to spite the mc or when they're not even clear abt their status yet. (i hate that this has js become a trope atp.)
but like considering this isn't that type of manhwa, why are ppl acting holier than thou? now that it's the mc or the uke having relations beyond their past rs with the seme, it's a problem...?
like sorry, ppl actually function in ways beyond your narrow viewpoint of the world...
but that's js me...

"drain you dry," mhm...I'M KIDDING, i'm not actually prepared for the smut, i rlly enjoy how slow and natural things feel rn. it's so refreshing. take your time, kings!
