That's you, and here we have Juheon, who was used by everyone his whole life, especially his family, he has created a wall to protect himself fir years, and when finally he trusted someone, let himself love Duha and trusted that he loved him back, it came up that he didn't approach him because of love, but he was using him... again someone was not there for him, but he was used.
I'm not saying that everyone would act the same way, but the point is to identify with the character, you don't need to agree, just to understand.
I mean, definitely there is much more to that, which we don't fully know yet, but surely something with his family, aunt etc., even Duha can see that there is much more why Juheon is like that.
In general, yes, it's frustrating, but healing is not an easy process, especially when all these years Juheon was sure that Duha didn't truly love him.
Hopefully we'll get more flashbacks from Juheon's POV soon, so we can dig deeper into his past and what made him behaving this way.
The key is that they're both deeply in love with each other, they just need to go through all these shitty things and heal together!

Here Juheon knew Dohh has no ill intention. It's just Dohu's way of thinking & personality. So, Juheon at least a lil bit know about Dohu not being a normal person. So what's the heavy heart about it?

well id be glad too if i were used as an inspo but the thing is juheon has a trauma abt people using him. he told this to dohu himself. he laid bare his vulnerability to dohu by saying he was used ever since a child for people’s gain and that he doesn’t even get to be himself. that’s why he had that dual persona in earlier chaps, to protect himself from others’ ill intent. but then dohu came along and basically made juheon open up, laid all his vulnerability on the table, trusted him, said he wouldn’t do the same… only for dohu to end up doing exactly that. like imagine telling someone your deepest trauma, trusting them with it, and then they unknowingly repeat the same thing. how is that “not a problem”?
but their whole problem rn is more than this novel thingy

its not even unknowingly bc dohu knew exactly what he was doing lmao dohu even admitted that he fucked up, and as someone who “can’t understand human emotions” by most people’s standards, he clearly gets juheon better than half the readers

But dude, it's not about that damn novel itself at all! It's about being used, again! Juheon thought that for the first time someone approached him for him, not for something they can gain from him! Someone approached him because they love him! He opened up just to know that Duha also wanted to gain something from him, and it wasn't for love! That's the problem! Once again betrayed and used, now by someone he opened up to and deeply loved! Can you see now why so 'heavy heart' about it?

i think the average person would feel weirded out by it (because partner didn't ask for permission) BUT if you go through the intense trauma Juheon went through you'd probably react just as intensely (has been physically and mentally abused since childhood, used to suppress his feelings and deal with his problems alone), his actions are hurtful, irrational and exteme because he doesn't have the tools to manage conflict or articulate his feelings in a healthy way

If my partner used me as inspiration in their story id rather be happy then weirded out. I guess everyone is different. But it was never supposed to be such big of a deal like you said. So i agree.

Exactly, and as a person who went through abuses and being used by so called family whole life, believe me, it's not so easy to trust people and open up through the walls you've built around yourself since you've been a child... and once someone you finally managed to open up to betray you... it's even harder to put your walls back again... so I can identify with Juheon very much, that's how it is unfortunately, but probably it's hard to understand for people who didn't go through anything similar in childhood

I totally get it :( I'm very sorry you went through that :( it takes a lot of time and effort to heal from that kind of trauma, it's frustrating to see people not take his pain seriously and immediately villainize his character without trying to understand why he's acting that way

Exactly, it takes a lot of time, unfortunately mostly readers don't put themselves in the character shoes just judge from their own perspective, and of course we can guess what we would do, but not shaming others decisions just because it's different, how we behave and how we see things depend on our journey, and just to be clear, our past doesn't justify things, it's not an excuse to our actions, but it explains a lot, and we can understand WHY someone behaves this not another way!
People many times forgive toxic characters what they did so easily when we have a traumatic past presented, but when we have a characters who despite that are a good person like Juheon they shame them right away...
He's really a well written character based already on what we know, and there will be more for sure...
Of course it's frustrating, they both did wrong, they have flaws as everyone, and going through trauma is nothing nice and healthy to begin with, but it would be nice if people would at least try to understand his point of view, which is really realistically presented here
