i 100% think (am certain) she will end up with yuseong idc idc idc. 1. there was a chapter where she said something along the line of “in my 20s I always waited for people to confess first but I joke with yuseong about how he didn’t confess” (if yk the chapter plz comment i don’t feel like looking) 2. her (paid) bestie said first love never works 3. it’s already giving that trope where the first love is her big crush but he ends up being insecure and jealous which is NEVER a good foundation for a relationship so they’re fs setting it up to be a time jump with yuseong going to the army like yea im so ready for their love story sorry tae
SO TRUEE thats what i felt since that time, the way it was it was just like she's narrating her first love in the past!! I cant really feel taeyang now even tho i liked him before honestly feel bad for both men (im not blaming our fl tho!!)
Your 3rd point in particular makes so much sense. I kinda get the feeling that the author is intentionally focusing on him being insecure. Like, even when confessing, all he talked about was how insecure he was, I found it really odd. Another point I would like to add: what even was the point of making Sua feel confused between Taeyang and Yuseong? There was literally no point if Taeyang was going to be the winner anyway, UNLESS the author was setting something up for future development. And I have this odd feeling that Yuseong was right when he said Sua doesn't have romantic feelings toward Taeyang. I think it has been pretty clear that she idolizes him a lot. And yeah, Sua and Yuseong's past cannot be forgotten this easily. It clearly hasn't been explored enough.
Idc if I'm coping, but if I see even the slightest bit of hope, I will continue to root for Yuseong.
This is what she say in chapter 46: "At twenty, I was passive in every way. I always waited for people to make the first move. Years later... I'd find myself joking with Yuseong...wondering what might've happened if he had been a little more forward with his feelings back then." Can we analize this? She's introverted and shy. Would she joke with a friend who has feelings for her, about it? It's more plausible for me, that she can joke with him because he's her boyfriend, right? This is me being delusional?
