So I need some help (English isn't my first language). Tei said he wouldn't participate, but then he did as the hooded figure? Why?
Basically the event is to win a wish and serve as the empress' night. As the empress (forgot the official name) Tei can't fight in an event made for him. He has to pretend to be someone else so he is allowes to fight and win the wish. If that helps at all? He said he wouldn't watch so that he could fight secretly because he cant both watch and fight.
from what i understand, tei saying he wouldn't “participate” would be him sitting and watching the event happen with shuraka. what shuraka doesnt know is that tei was actually going to fight in the event. the reason why hes doing this is because he doesnt want a knight to protect himself since he’s perfectly capable of protecting himself. basically like the disney movie “brave”
lmk if this made sense

Beautiful story. I was left wanting more about them, but they all had a happy ending. As for the brother, although I acknowledge his trauma, I think his ending was too easy.
He do ended up living a miserable life, just not on screen. Personally feel its, kinda useless to see him struggle tbh, id rather have the screen time for the main couple. He deserve meaningless, empty, lonely life far away from the thing he desire, just like his father but better cs now he only have the fraction of privilege that enable his mindset. Pathetic then even worse at the end.
Beside, story wise I dont see any way he could repent with his memory still intact that does not put darling on potential danger and trauma. His obsession and entitlement is an integral part of him that wont be easilly stripped down. At least not without writing a whole several episode about him. The story is ultimately about class divide and the struggle that the common folks face. I feel adding more narrative breakdown to him would shift the focus of the story.
Okay, okay, this is really good. My humble and totally biased opinion is that you should give it a try.
In favor: the bottom isn't stupid, he's very intelligent And strong in herself, there is no miscommunication, the bottom is not violated (there is an insinuation that something like that could happen but nothing more), the top is an adult with a developed frontal lobe (which is almost unheard of), the plot is interesting and there are no loose ends (and if there are, I don't want to know about them!), It's a slow burn, and I think the first kiss is around chapter 20-something.
On the downside: for me it's the lightsaber (I'd rather there be nothing than be dazzled by that) And the ending was very rushed; it could easily have continued for another 100 chapters.
Read it, if you don't like it I'll give you your money back!

Is this going to hurt?.. Each chapter is beautiful, the colors, the details, the characters and the story, but I feel like it's all a preparation to drag me into pain.
