Yes the ending did seem rushed and anticlimatic with the whole memory loss cliche, but the whole story was filled with cliches. Just as bada said during the gameplay, it follows horror story tropes, such as when lovers confess their love then die.
So just like these tropes, the ending follows the cliches and they all wake up not remembering anything, but only bada, the supposed “npc” remembers, which shows how he was never supposed to be part of the “game” in the first place, just as how he was never part of their group.
Also, the ending of the “game” was bada and doha and the end of the tunnel with light approaching, ANOTHER CLICHE. So i feel the ending was intentional in being very cliche and corny.
I did feel upset, but overall i am satisfied with this ending!!! Need sidestories NOW!!!!
