The action kept me hooked, and the reveal of Zhenya's true identity was incredibly well done. The foreshadowing was there from the beginning, but I never pieced it together until the story wanted me to. The author also clearly did a lot of research.
I had mixed feelings about their romantic relationship. Although the plot hasn’t quite progressed into the romance part yet, the setup is starting to feel like a stockholm syndrome type situation. Taekjoo is literally an intelligence agent, so the idea of him ending up with his enemy would feel like a betrayal of everything he'd been working toward.

Utakata no Uroko has a very distinctive art style that stands out from the polished pretty-boy look common in a lot of BL. The characters looked a little strange to me at first, but it ended up feeling refreshing and unique. The paneling and artwork are beautiful, and the tragedy is handled really well. I was surprised by the fantasy elements since I wasn't expecting them at all, and some of the twists definitely had shock value. A beautiful and bittersweet story that stayed with me after I finished it.

Stigmata: Aikon was a good read. The art can look a little wonky at times, especially some of the mouths, but I appreciated that it didn't look like every other BL manga. The plot is easy to follow without feeling simplistic, and the relationship is surprisingly healthy for a BL centered around murder investigations and supernatural trauma.

A lawyer gets caught up with an obsessive mafia boss while investigating organized crime. Action-heavy mafia BL with violence, power struggles, and a feisty uke. I enjoyed the action and general plot, though I sometimes struggled to keep track of all the characters and their alliances. There were points where I was just nodding along and hoping everything would make sense later. Caesar is a red-flag seme who never really redeems himself, and I wasn't a fan of that scene after he shot Lee Won. It made it harder to root for the romance afterward.
