There’s no real redemption arc but ml def changed. Hes still a possessive psycho and in the end mc chooses (literally runs) to be with him knowing the terms. ML is like this: “yes you can go back to college but only if u do what i say, be driven there and back, etc.” and mc likes this possessive relationship (which is the only way this works) and ml knows that which is why he let him go to see if he’ll come back on his own. ML took all the heat for mcs “murders” (he didn’t btw) and paid all his debts way back before they moved to his home. ML crazy ways of intercourse changed the most tho. They do it a lot still but not in the same way as the first 20-30 ch. so yeah he does cry and change in a 180 sort of redemption way but we do see him at least let mc choose him himself and mc confesses that he loves him and ml def loved that. Hope this helps
