I had the same thought about the color of her eyes. But at the same time, I’d be plenty happy if she’s not and they love her regardless of being adopted (of which they already do).
I’m almost 100% positive she is their biological child. Why?
Well, the mage king said his seventh daughter is a “jewel” he “stole.” Even Rubian said that the mage king kidnaps children and raises them to be child soldiers (useful tools, basically).
Also, Rubian has the exact same blue eyes as Rosetta (the mom) and even her age matches up. Rubian is 10 years old and Rosetta “lost” her child 10 years prior.
I can’t explain the white hair thing, but it was clear to me that Rubian has memories that have been suppressed and altered by magic from the headache she got from trying to think back to the time before the mage king. She might have been aware of what was going on when the mage king stole her thanks to Wizeria, the magic “library” that she inherited, so the mage king had to forcefully make her forget.
