I could never understand the people who used to/still do hate on Lucky Paradise, calling it a terrible story even if the art style was fine. When the storyline is literally the exact same as it is in Lucky Paradise just without a guy like Tae-so also in the picture.

I honestly believe it had a very realistic outlook. I say this because I too, would have slept with my first love the moment I got the chance, knowing full well they’d never feel the same way about me. I was fine with that even if I had to hide my feelings from them. I was willing to put a lot on the line just so I could keep them by my side instead of watching them just at a distance.

I never thought you’d be able to have a first love when you’re really young but the feelings I felt for them were so hard to express that I fully denied ever liking them years afterwards because I had never felt such a strong emotion in my life. One that couldn’t even be put into words or expressed in simplicity. It has taken me a long, long time to fully come to terms with the fact that I was in love with them, and that they were my first love. When I realized this, after many years of debating on whether or not my feelings were true or not, I felt so overwhelmed that I broke down crying and sobbed in grief of what we could have never been. I finally know now that I am capable of love, and that it’ll be okay for me to open my heart to whatever comes next. Even as I wrote this I could feel both the feelings from the past and the moment I experienced acceptance of what did happen.

Truthfully, the author must just like ripping people’s hearts out because they already did the first time (at least for me lol).

Anyways, I love both stories so much and I stand by my opinion on them both.

I ain’t ever seen an ML dunk the MC’s head in water while fucking him but today must’ve been my “lucky” day or smth because that is exactly what I saw.

So I did end up paying money cause I really liked the art style more and wanted to at least show a little appreciation for their work.

All I did to find the raws was search the korean name + BL next to it and it instantly sent me there lol.

Which is something I usually do when searching for the raw versions of some manwha’s.

I gotta say, Ho-in truly knows Woojin so well.

I keep forgetting this but Ho-in does have a lot of self-love for himself and understands his flaws, along with his positives.

This has shocked me to my core, simply because it takes lots of effort and time for the average person to find who they are or want to be.

Although his understanding becomes challenged in Lucky Paradise. I’d say he learned even more about himself from meeting his (now) lover.

I think of it as a stepping stone for Ho-in where Lucky Paradise challenged what he already knew about himself, only to find out extra details by the end of the manwha. (Of course there was more than one theme in the story but I’m simply focusing on one aspect of the plot)

This chapter made me quite emotional simply because it’s quite rare to find someone who will observe you before judging you instead of just judging you, and disliking you automatically based on assumptions of what they heard.

People always seem to judge first.

I never understood that, truthfully. I noticed I’m a bit like Ho-in in that aspect of his personality.

Ho-in observed his friend, knew he could become better than the person he was now, and knew he could strive to become something even greater in the future.

To see that potential in a friend, and taking steps/actions to lead them into a better future is simply (in my opinion), exceptional and fascinating.

Damn. Ho-in is just- simply amazing.

And what a damn great job Woojin did in trusting his friends advice/words.

Not a lot of people would trust their friend enough to want to change their habits.

I think Ho-in did a great job in putting that in perspective for Woojin.

Overall, I have so many nice things to say about this chapter.

Why is everyone so mad? I don’t understand. The moment I saw the mc go harsh on Jaerim that quickly I knew this was going to be same as the other manwha’s with red flags but I continued reading anyways because I still enjoyed the manwha regardless.
