After Uke had enough he tries to kill himself, but was then stopped by the ml duke (after he finally found out the truth.

Then the biggest plotwist of all is that Uke is actually related to the emperor since his mother is some kind of princess, and he's the last royal blood–HE BECAME THE EMPEROR.
Then, he finds his nephew (not royal) who survived and prepares him to be the next emperor. Khalid is like his dog who obeys him, and helps him have authority in the empire, since he was previously a slave.
Uke still doesn't forgive Khalid but he uses him to rule the empire, they're in a one-sided devotion.
