There is no karma for the neglect that happened to MC. All the characters just say "oops, sorry there were circumstances," and then they're just magically forgiven. Nah forget that. 10 years of neglect will traumatize ANY child. You CAN'T tell me that she regresses and suddenly holds no grudge to anyone? It is not a child's responsibility to heal the relationships of her family, THAT IS THE ADULTS JOBS! The grandfather can suck it for all I care. "Oh but I couldn't approach her in order to keep her safe," HOGWASH! SEND PEOPLE WHO CAN TAKE CARE OF HER THEN. "Oh father is at some random border and can't come home," DID HE NOT THINK TO WRITE TO HIS FAMILY AND BOTHER THEM ABOUT MAKING SURE HIS LITERAL INFANT DAUGHTER WAS OKAY?
In conclusion this story treats abuse like a joke and I can't stand it. Author can kick rocks for all I care.
Apparently you don't understand a god damn thing. The father most likely couldn't send letters and trusted a family to watch her. They were doing everything they can to keep her safe, the main family were not the ones who abused her, sure the grandfather could have checked in and tried a different approach but he couldn't be loving towards her otherwise that would compromise her safety. Her siblings do love her, just awkward at showing it because they are kids, the eldest brother left to protect her by sacrificing himself to keep the Queen at bay. This family is honestly not the worse I have read. Could they have done it differently? Yes, but they did what they have to do until Rie can use her ability.
The only one you should turn that blame to is the Grandfather for not doing enough. The father and her siblings didn't neglect her, there are good servants who do enjoy tending to her. She may have been ten when she died, but ten year old do NOT have the emotional intelligence, or at least enough of it, to want revenge against her family, she loves her family and want to protect it.
Also, this is not "oopsies, excuses and circumstances," if you don't like it, get the fuck out.
The more I read the more disappointed I am in this Ml and Fl pair. The Ml DOES NOT respect Rose's boundaries EVER! He's always pushing into her space, making decisions for her, and being jealous and petty over the dumbest things. And worst of all, Rose just lets him do it. In any other situation she's smart, strong willed and determined, but as soon as Klaus is involved she just let's him walk all over her! It's kinda bothering me how toxic and unhealthy this relationship is.
I was hoping Klaus's character would develop, that'd he'd come to respect Rose, put her before himself and recognise that loving someone ISN'T owning them. But all that's happening in these recent chapters are him talking about how he owns her now, how she can't leave, how her talking or looking at ANYONE ELSE is wrong, how whenever she doesn't want PDA it doesn't matter because he's the duke and her life is in his hands. And then Roselia rolls over and is like "oh he's so handsome."
No this isn't how relationships should be, this is gross and makes me uncomfortable.
Interesting, I really wanted to see how they'd turn around the relationship between the ml and fl. I had my hopes up until I realised he never once told her that he loved her. He apologised here and there but never to an extent that fully covered the emotional abuse he subjected her to. The grandfather should have died just as miserably as Mia, both of them are villains. In the end Iris the floor decided to stay in a relationship with her abuser because abuse is all she knows and being in a healthy relationship is against her norm. Smh

I really enjoyed the start and the middle but season 3 left me disappointed. It's not horrible but after how great season 2 was I felt let down. I'm happy they gotarroed but like.... I don't like so many other things that I can't be bothered to put into a single comment because then I'll just cry out of sheer frustration. In conclusion, first two seasons are FABULOUS, final season was disgustingly mid
