As someone who reads kinky stuffs, not gonna lie the bdsm part scares me.... bad bdsm practice is really scary and how accurate was yeonsoo acting by being a victim to one is unsettling as well... yes there are a lot of sex even between mc and ml which doesn't sit well with me because mc was always crying and saying stop but as the story progresses I don't hate it as much because it does show development in their relationship and emphasise how it's not a one sided negotiation like it was with his "master".
I also love how everything unfolds like it makes sense why joohwan hid the fact about yeonsoo's record from him because unlike yeonsoo who is just learning that everything that his master did was wrong, joohwan sees how bad it is from the start, which means the implication seemed harsher to him than what the actual victim would perceive it as.
While the way yeonsoo finally snapped at the end because he thought dohyun (his master) was threatening joohwan although it was all about him makes so much sense as well because yeonsoo wouldn't care one bit about himself if it keeps joohwan safe.
Like one thing I'm really glad here is that as much as an overthinker yeonsoo is, he is quite articulate in expressing his feelings~ which just show how shi*ty and manipulative dohyeon is, honest to God, he deserves lifetime prison time..
