loved this manga, but just wanted to say i was surprised this was published in 2018 lol i was expecting it to be from like the early 2000's bc of the artstyle
i really liked this manga!! i think it's become one of my favorites, but i definitely don't think that it's perfect.
first of all, i really liked how all the characters were portrayed, especially Junko. like yeah, the "false angel" trope has been a bit overdone but with the context of the story, i think it was executed pretty well!! after all, she's a woman climbing the corporate ladder (IN JAPAN of all places), so her being a bit nasty inside was understandable, those parts of her were pretty relatable lol (dw i'm in therapy). that said, i obv don't like her as a person TT
i also really liked the office politics and intrigue with all the powder dynamics and shady stuff happening behind the scenes, although i do think it would've been better if it was all fleshed out more :// i would've liked to know more about the main characters' motivations, their backstories, how their environment affected them in why they made the choices they did, and so much more :((
i'd write more but i think this comment's getting pretty long TT overall, i'd say this was like an 8/10? it's unique- unlike a lot of the gls i see here that i believe are not catered towards adult women. i really really love the idea behind it, but i definitely do agree with some of the reviews that say it lacks a solid foundation and that it could've been much more than it is.
liked this more than i thought i would (heavily related to sungha), but i'd like to see some side stories at least TT
