The author is so damn smart for giving us a butt load of chapters(the really sad ones with the spirit's pasts with the witch) which only feature lady witch with her full head so that we, the viewer, get used to seeing her like that... So when the witch suddenly cuts the top part of her head off, instead of feeling normal, we get this shocked surprised feeling just like how Azhu, Char, little kid etc... felt
It really helps us connect with the characters and I fucking love the author(and editor)
