This is coming from someone who read the novel. If you cant handle beastiality and multiple instances of gang rape, this is the best time to stop reading. Jiwook had Juyeon gang raped when they were younger. They used to be close and Juyeon wasn’t always this evil. But Jiwook was very bigoted then and when Juyeon accidentally confessed to him, Jiwook (despite having feelings for him too) reacted horribly. Juyeon’s rape was recorded and sent to his mother, which is what caused her to lose her mind. Then Jiwook got into an accident which wiped his memories. Even then, Juyeon took care of him. In the future, Juyeon will pull away from Jiwook and because he’s so heavily dependent on him, Jiwook will attempt suicide more than once just to get Juyeon’s attention, and also because he’s very much lost the will to live unless Juyeon is beside him. Juyeon will also be very dependent on Jiwook, and he gets scared at the thought of Jiwook dying or committing suicide.

Because of their fight in the next chapters, Zigril will want to look for the Mirror of Targo just to see if Kay loves him or not. Long story short Kay does. He just refuses to admit it but because the novel is written in his pov, its pretty damn obvious he loves Zigril lmfao. Tho dont hope for any sort of redemption from Zigril as he is described as a literal monster in the novel. Considering the time+setting of the story, and that zigril was born that way (though he had soften up to Kay throughout their marriage) Zigril will remain the way he is until the end of Mirror of Targo.
As for the 2nd child, it was conceived consensually after the two of them declared their love for each other. Thats what Zigril is trying to buy from merchants. Its also why Zigril asked kay if there's anything he wants in chapter 48.
