This is really different from all the yaoi I have read... And the ending made so much sense to me... I believe it ended at the perfect time. Expecting more such plots from the author.
I understand the psychological (& physical) trauma of the MC stricken by his father, when even the mother primarily served as a catalyst for what MC is now... Hence the nature of the intimate scenes as he doesn't really seem to care about his own fulfillment. The intimate scenes served the plot but were unfulfilling for the readers, as well.
