Ok big questions here: I wonder if the authors who draw this kind of scene, themselves become excited by what they draw? I mean for example, in this webtoon the sexual scenes are particularly so well done (the actions, reactions and emotions of the characters) that we are obliged to touch ourselves at least once per scene ╥﹏╥
As someone who's drawn nsfw: you spend so much time looking at the scenes that they don't excite you but you can appreciate it if they turned out good or just if it's a scene you generally find sexy. A lot of artists include their own preferences in their art bc it really is more fun to draw but I don't think I could ever touch myself to my own art, it feels strange...
From my personal experience, no. I think the other reply explained it really well! But if this helps: it’s almost like filming an av, you’re more worried about lighting, positions, and technical things instead of what you’re actually making. It’s hard to explain but it’s definitely less erotic when it’s your own creation lol. Even after it’s finished, I’m focused on nitpicking not the sensuality of it.
