I would have just read a hentai if I knew the author was gonna be jerking me around this much. I stand in solidarity with the poor translators who have dedicated their skint time on earth to this load of bull.
1. Hate Damien. Hate Raymond. Hate Agnes. Hate Hazel. Hate the Saintess. Hate the Emperor. The only one of the main characters that I don't hate is Kylo, but that's because he's such a nothing burger of a ML that I can't find anything to dislike. I like Sirius more but he's not in it for long- which is great because the author would find some way to make me Hate him.
2.The author really turns this into a FL pampering story. You can tell cuz she never does anything but enjoy herself and fawn over Kylo. She never trains her holy powers. She never actively looks for a solution to THE END OF THE WORLD???? She just goes, "I'll make everyone love Kylo <3" Okay? And then what? The WORLD IS GONNA END!!! DO SOMETHING!!!
3. There are no female characters in this except her. Diana? Who the fuck is that? She's her brother's love interest with like 6 panels total. The girl in the Black knights with her is basically a pet. Lilliana alternates between being comically evil (summoning demons, really?), pickme-ish, and completely stupid. And Hazel is actually a guy, who- you guessed it!- is in love with Agnes. Because everyone is in love with Agnes.
4. Agnes forgot she had holy magic till like 86 or something. Like bro?
5. Forgotten world building. You reincarnated into a fantasy steampunk world with magic and you A. Don't explore the fantasy. B. Don't travel by airship or train (shouldn't the military be using steam powered transport that is faster than horses and also does not tire?) C. Only have two types of magic? D. Magicstones are only used for weaponry. In a (usually) peaceful, prospering empire? Nobody invented an air fryer or something?
Verdict: 3/10. If you like shitty worldbuilding, inconsistent characters, dragging plotlines and rushed endings, then this Manhwa is for you!!!!! ♡
Only went up to Chapter 2. The literal sexual assault left a bitter taste in my mouth but I was hoping for an elegant resolution. Then I see this guy- heart of eyed and dumb of ass- genuinely beating his meat and talking some, " He's different from other alphas ♡ ". Like do the suppressants mess with your brain, dude. He raped you!!! He just met you and raped you! He invaded your space to rape you! He is maybe a stalker who wants to rape you! He raped you in your workplace within minutes of meeting! But because he didn't actually stick it in, he's different? Right okay sure.
DNFed so hard. Maybe in my next life I'll skip a stage in evolution and become someone who enjoys this slop.
