Wasn't this spouse to be a love story. Why i cant feel any love even a little from Areum for Travis?
The more i read this story the more frustrated i get at Areum. What wrong with you girl can't you see how lonely n need love our M. Vampier. （￣へ￣）
I think its just the way the mangaka drew and wrote the manga: its clumsy cluttered and very bipolar. They try to make it like a cute romance drama type of manga, bute they rush it too much. I think its the result of them not thinking thoroughly about the script and the composition of each scene. They are most likely an inexperienced mangaka and is still learning the ropes. Though they do have great potential. I believe the thought is that they slowly fall in love with each other, and they are at the start of the discovering-their-feelings stage lol

i like the storyline it just the mangaka cannot deliver main heroin character as it should be. N it’s confusing.
I get what you mean! I really love areum as opposed to lots of other female leads, but I honestly don’t even know what she’s thinking. Like in ch 25, when she threw the confetti for Travis, and he said she didn’t have to do it cause she’s forced to suck up to him, she gets mad and says “cursed vampire” or something like that. I’m like?? Why are you mad that he doesn’t want you to act fake, when you’ve been acting fake and know it all along?? (I know she had to act fake cause she wanted to live). I hope they both grow happy and in love (▰˘◡˘▰)
I think there are some confusion here
Areum never said “cursed vampire” that was Travis' line.
1. Areum havent fallen in love with Travis yet
2. All her actions before his apology was out of survival
3. Travis fell in love first because even tho he knew she isn't sincere about her feelings, she doesnt treat him with fear or indifference, but as an individual. And enjoyed that she at least wanted to be close to him even if it was out of survival. And out of love, he started trying to gain her sincere affection, even if it is just a smile (seen in how he ask how to make a human happy). But he forgot the trauma he gave to Areum.
4. Areum and Travis got close and it is clear that Areum is starting to platonically appreciate Travis. however she is haunted by the Trauma of her first meeting with Travis' dark nature. The same nature u can see when he mistreats pr punish the maids. Throwing knives at solenn, using spells to interrogate, forcing maids to drink poisoned tea and even imprisoning the princess to get back at the prince for kidnapping Areum. The first meeting, he threatens to resell her, break her arm, suck her blood... and he also mistreats her as a maid by giving her lots of useless repetitive tasks.
5. Unless Areum lets him know how she feels, I think Areum cannot let go of her guilt that she can't be sincere with her feelings. Anytime she enjoys being with him, she start to doubt if he is really being sincere or that he is just a tyrant like before and only let her live because she sucks up to him. That fear is reinforced with the maids got "fired" for locking her out and no one tells her what happened to them
6. Now that Travis realised his wrongs and apologised, Areum, still confused, is starting to have the chance to warm up to him and see his actions as sincere. She also finally have the chance to be sincere about her feelings. When she saw no one cheered for Travis, she willingly saved her confetti so that she can throw it while saying his name (because she know the crowd dont like Travis so she didnt want to throw it in the crowd without saying his name). She's starting to willingly show affection for him, even stating that she wants to do it.
So yes. Areum is still not in love with Travis yet. She is at the stage where she is learning to get past her past trauma that he caused, forgive him and appreciate him for who he is. We just have to wait until Travis makes her feelings bloom into love for him

If you're talking about Raphael then yes he's very obsessive and possesive but Gabriel is a douche whichis a cliche. Of course there's also the possibility that Raphael is another personality and he and Gabriel are both playing a trick on Colin whicj makes them both douches and cliched. T.
&& notice raphel is never around when Gabriel supposedly calls.
