Can someone please explain the final chhapter as I couldn't understand it.
The last chapter is pretty confusing and reminded me a lot of the ending from Strangers from Hell. I connected it to strangers from hell because the mc is pretty much driven to show his darker side more by the other mc who’s a psychopath serial killer. These two characters reminded me of that.
I could be completely off base, but the priest making the prosecutor end him and saying it was up to him, made me think he wanted to leave his “legacy” with him no matter how messed up it was. The whole story itself was confusing and felt like there was missing essential plot fillers. So I would guess the prosecutor continued some sort of messed up cycle like the priest did and we won’t get to see. That’s just my terrible interpretation.
