Is it wrong for me to say this, that they should make an alternate ending after the apartment scene, Hoon killed himself and wrote suicide love note and that his mother gives to Haedam after school. He goes home and read it and cry. the end.


Alternate Ending — Countdown to Love

The classroom felt strangely quiet that morning.

Haedam sat at his desk, staring at the empty seat beside him. Hoon's chair hadn't moved since yesterday.

The teacher entered slowly and placed her papers on the desk.

“Before we begin,” she said, her voice unusually soft, “there's something you need to know.”

Haedam looked up.

“Hoon passed away.”

For a moment, nobody spoke.

Haedam couldn't understand the words. They seemed to hang in the air without meaning.

Passed away?

His fingers tightened around the edge of his desk.

The teacher continued, carefully explaining that Hoon had died by suicide. She asked the class to give his family privacy and reminded everyone that grief could affect people differently.

Haedam barely heard the rest.

For the next few days, he kept coming to school.

He kept looking at Hoon's empty seat.

He kept expecting the door to open.

It never did.

Then, after school one afternoon, Hoon's mother was waiting outside.

She approached Haedam with red, tired eyes.

“Haedam…”

She held out a small envelope.

“Hoon left this behind. I thought… you should have it.”

Haedam stared at his name written across the front.

His hands trembled as he accepted it.

He didn't open it until he got home.

Sitting alone in his room, Haedam carefully unfolded the letter.

His vision blurred.

The letter slipped from his hands and landed on the floor.

Only then did he finally break down.

He covered his face, shoulders shaking as everything he had been holding inside came pouring out.

“Hoon…”

There was no answer.

Only silence.

Haedam picked up the letter and held it against his chest.

Outside his window, the evening slowly became dark.
