bruhhh… Chase and Greyson’s parents (just Ash actually) did everything they could for their psychopath kids bruh… im getting tired of everyone saying bad stuff about ash and koi when they both did their best to raise children that don’t enjoy killing or murdering people. and like thats their standard cus the phermones stuff really messed with the brain and ash just did as much as he could so that his children wouldnt be committing genocide somewhere. and plus chase didnt really speak up about it and ash and koi have 6 children (4 of ehich are psychopaths btw and is not their fault that phermones are doing a frick ass job). and I wouldn’t blame greyson cus theyve, according to the novel, visited all the clinics in the world, and btw ash was always present throughout the entire process, and none of them could cure or do anything about greysons problem. it might feel like ash and koi were neglecting their children especially chase who’s the normalest out of all them (maybe also bliss too)but theyvreally did their best. and also greyson redemption arc… also ash and koi didnt really know what greyson was doing while they weren’t watching him cus as ive said they have 6 children with 4 being natural born psychos. saur they also cannot control him on the days where theyre focusing on the other children. thats all. i just hope people dont just read surface stuff and hate character that actually have depth. btw lets not forgrt the society they love in and the world building is different from ours saur yall should look into it if youbreally want to understand and enjoy all the stories by zig.
Ash brain damage really fd up there parenting.. honestly if he was high school ashley he would be same as chase is with his kids ....chase is the one who resembles young ashley the most... but I can't help but be bitter on how he treated his alpha kids he was blantaly shown in deflower me if you can that he adores bliss he even hugged and kissed him on his forehead something the alpha kids never got
I hate that everyone is blaming Ashly. He did amazing job with the circumstances he had. Also people keep forgetting that we are dealing with extreme alphas here not normal people.

aside from his hatred of dom alpha traits, the born alpha kids (greyson, stacey, larien, nat) he had never really wanted or needed a ‘father’. look at koi, he adored his kids and even was the most hopeful about greyson’s situation but never did the kids treat him as anything more than a reaction maker toy )”( ltjeybere just curious of how hed react thats why they tried to kill him). even chase didnt feel like he was a parent. thats why ash deliberately chose not to give them love or affection cus he was the same as them, never really craved that family affection. but yea… thats just how i see their family dynamic. i think most people are just disappointed at ash’s change from teen to adult. and most put their hopes that young ash would come back if he had kids. well it did come back with bliss tho cus bliss the only child that was koi-like (in appearance and personality), someone who was far from his dom alpha traits.

Ashley's jealousy was a big factor. Who knows if it was only because of him losing emotions, his dependency on Koi, or that marking didn't work. But he actively made Koi spend less time with the children, he saw them as rivals.
And Koi often gave Ashley more priority than the children. Koi was also often overwhelmed by the children, since they were so many.
Grayson certainly was problematic, but Ashley treated Grayson different (in a negative way) than the others, because he looked the most like Dominic.
One of the biggest mistakes they made, even if it sounds incredibly cruel, is that they didn't abort Chase and the other two after him. Because with the birth of the twins they had 3 too early manifested children, because Nathaniel manifested on the day they were born. 3 of those should have been problematic enough to handle.

but i gotta say, i had the same view (esp after i read the extras of eat me if u can), that is until i read ash and dane’s convo in desire me. idk of ash is just a bad narrator or smthn but his thoughts in the extras and the way he acted in the bits of all the other miller stories were not really same (ig the skips took a part cus we mostly see ash’s misery with each pregnancy and a small peek at what house-life was for them), but in bits (which showed how he handle them) he really took his part as a ‘guardian of humanity’ typeshi. as ive said before, the kids never really needed a ‘father’ saur he took the role of being their limit. and in their family dynamic that was what they needed the most. his thoughts and comparison of greyson and dominic were actually very reasonable cus greyson really did resemble dominic a lot (except for the fact that hes a bum and unemployed) saur he must have expected him to do dominic-like stuff. but from the back stories in desire, ash was very strict about self-defense (for the kids) and punishment (only and only if they did something wrong). i think ash adjusted each punishment according to what the child had done as well. plus near the end of desire, you can see that ash is very trusting of koi already and less of healousy and actual acknowledgment of his side (which he has always done throughout the whole series actually and which can be seen from his misery with the each kid ). so yea!
They should have stopped after the twins but koi still insisted on wanting more he should have taken into consideration ash is not the same old one ....koi honestly is too naive and innocent for his own good..may be he wanted more because he lost old ashley....he should have fought harder for kids even yeonwoo has more back bone than him .... but as you said there family dynamic is like that ..ash raised them like that if koi was a bit assertive...chase would have not suffered this much but from my perspective I don't think other 4 could really have been that different from on how they are now....i can't wait to see dane and grayson being parents because there children would might also not be normal..i know they would turn out Okk because dane is there.. Grayson on the other hand will be partner in there mischief and be jealous because they monopolizes his precious venus
