I noticed a lot of times in redemption arcs the ml doesn't show relapse. As someone who has dealt with anger management issues this is essential to show. You will be your old self sometimes. You can't help it. You have been that person too long. But the constant fight to not be that person is what truly matters. Even that old self shows itself less and less. Too it practically doesn't exist anymore. That is the goal. But it's a part of you as well.
