It's gonna sound weird but I kind of understand Sua. They were friends first and then she said she could imagine being with him before but them it dawned to her that if they'll be together offically, she fears more the idea of losing him forever (because being with your best friend and becoming lovers, then broke up, nothing could be recovered). So it came out of fear of losing the guy more, so she chose to keep a certain distance.
Yea, Its easy to understand her, and i also sympathize with her situation. But she still should have simply communicated that with her best friend instead of dragging a completely innocent stranger. Now shes at risk of not only losing that friendship, shes also risking losing her potential future with the guy and maybe even the ability to connect more with other people if this blows up
