I think more about his position as a concubine. Usually in this type of culture they are not allowed to sleep with other men other than the king/emperor. To do so would not only warrant punishment but may go as far as death or the death you family. It varies very much from culture to culture. There is also reputation, if this gets out other parties may use this to shake Shurakas rule or spread rumors that can damage the trust he has on his people or allies.
Sooo, he killed the guy as both a threat to the pink bitch and shurakas right as the ruler. Plus the guy was probably someone with high enough rank to enter the palace or a worker of some sort, so thats another crime as for willingly doing this despite whatever rule was set in place.
Another point is how this (the stabby stab stab) is probably pretty common in the palace, shuraka killed his brothers for the succession after all.

It's because he can't touch his concubine without starting a war. In this era, most marriages are based on political or peace agreements, just like his. So you'll see a lot of killings of those around them, like maids and servants. These are methods to either isolate them within the kingdom and from the other concubines, bcus they don't want to fall outta favor with the king and another method is if they can't, then they'll strip them of their title and send them away
