The way the story was progressing had so much potential and the way it ended sucks because of that. There was so much more story it could’ve branched out of that lash chapter and I binged this in a day really hoping for a better relationship between them and some character development. I read a lot of manhwas and I was expecting even something cliche for the ending, ANYTHING but that. Idk like oh ML overcomes demon lord and finally is able to love FL without being cruel and FL finding peace and real love with him in the end. Some might thing it’s refreshing to see an ending that isn’t overused but I’m honestly a sucker for happy endings even for toxic relationships
