No offense to the new artist, but there's a reason why sticking to one is important. Sudden changes with the art will throw off readers ;-; We're already accustomed with how the characters looked—now it's weird, not in a bad way. The art is pretty, but it seemed lacking compared to how vibrant it was. Different art, different personality.

Immediately stopped when I noticed it changed (LIKE REAL IMMEDIATELY), sadly. Even the color saturation was off ;-; I'll be back, maybe.

Both parents are irresponsible. No wonder they divorced. They're both selfish. She didn't even feel an ounce of worry towards her daughter, just because she's always been mature? Yes, she did say she's fine, but only kids will believe that!

They're not parents. Just horrible, selfish, hopeless romantic a-holes. Now, their daughter is paying the price of their rash, selfish actions. Love of the century, alright, because of how they selfishly loved their selves and the concept of love, itself. They neglected their daughter, so she had to grow up sooner. If only they looked at their kid for once, they would know she's acting tough. SMH.

Still on season 1. Made sure I marinated this story, lol. I hate the blonde. From what I've read, or so from I've put together, she's a loser bitch. She felt attraction towards a man who obviously wasn't trying to be nice. She then tried to get herself onto his bed during his cycle, thinking it was like a rut? He's a dragonborn and they're known for being ruthless. I don't even know how she thought of putting herself in that situation, as she was clearly clueless of what cycle entailed. Imagine getting pleasured as he's ripping you apart. Dumb bitch. She got humiliated over her own presumption, and now trying to be a bitch about it.

Read it in one go. Still had mixed feelings about the story. Like, as much as I wanna hate the ML for being heartless, how can he be not one when he literally spawned in the world hearing his mother cursed at him, then ripping her womb open? Dude lived all his life by killing people and being called a dog. But I dunno if I like him. He's too unstable to even consider loving. He got his face to thank for.

I managed to like the FL, too. She's naive, yes. That's her weakness. She got shoved into reality by her brother, all of a sudden, and managed to stay alive. Her plans were lackluster, as well. But it's a given, as she's never once tried surviving at all. She was desperate. Not weak but powerless.

I would've liked it if we delved deep more on backstories and even other characters, tho. Felt like they were immediately casted aside. The blonde died, brought up once, and never been talked about, again. Nor her family. Same with the emperor. I thought he would be a fine villain, but no, he's just a side character. Even the enemy king? I get that it's their story, but ML really became the villain of his own story, huh. Much more than the dragon.

Oh well, I really can't explain it because like I said, mixed. I don't know whether I really liked it or not. It's an "okay" story.

I love the story. Been reading this one for years. But imma gonna say that the idea of leaving your wife and kid for a woman you're fated with, is diabolical. It wasn't even leaving, he technically kicked them out? With a kid? Love is a choice and commitment. Just unfair that his kid grew up with a burden of separating his parents. The thought of their relationship going awry because your kid can see strings of fate? He just got ousted because he was cheating. Fate or not, that's wrong.

This thought ran through my mind for years now, LOL.

i dont think mc is seeing the string is the main reason for their divorce tho and since the string just pulls people towards their fate thats probably the real reason as to why the marriage failed cuz the dad fell inlove with his soulmate but they didnt really expand on the backstory much so i can only assume

    yong April 23, 2026 2:27 am

Yeah, we can only deduce from MC's POV, but it's still kind of sad knowing that. He prolly still cheated, tho. He still went to his supposedly soulmate. Whether they're bound or not, he still got a family and knowing they probably didn't get to reconcile nor reconnected afterwards? Hmm. Still, a one-sided backstory from his kid is still gonna be one-sided.

Jaehyuk's confidence and straightforwardness came from his ignorance of how it was like living as "not normal" for other people. However, one can say that he simply doesn't understand because he's still navigating that path. He's still thinking as if it's as "normal" as dating someone, the same way he did with girls. Props to being non-gender biased, but he should also realize that he's being a hypocrite, LOL. He's someone who hasn't been hiding before, and neither will he now. To conclude, he's a singleminded, insensitive prick. While Garam is the opposite. He's afraid of what other people are gonna say. He doesn't want to relive his trauma. Tbf, I think he's unknowingly projecting his worries onto Jaehyuk's idiotic resolve. Cannot blame him tho. That's just how gruesome being labeled "different" by the norm is. Something that Jaehyuk hasn't still experienced.

I understand that, and so as the other readers, because we're aware as we can see and read Garam's growing anxiety and fears. Obviously, Jaehyuk doesn't. He doesn't know and so, he frustratingly tried to squeeze that information from Garam. Cortisol level on red.

They're both confused. Garam's action did not help one bit. Nor his words. Telling someone he's wrong doesn't really explain why they're wrong. He's afraid, but he should know that he is in a relationship. People really shouldn't be making choices when they're overwhelmed by emotions. I definitely do not like how Jaehyuk's cornering Garam into deciding on what path their relationship is going. That's just cruel. But then again, I cannot completely blame him as he's just frustrated and lost, not understanding what he did wrong and not backing up.

IN SHORT, THEY'RE BOTH WRONG. THEY LACK COMMUNICATION AND TRUST WITH EACH OTHER. They're just not even trying to understand where each other were coming from. So please, people, do not ever get into a relationship if you cannot fully understand each other.

TO CONCLUDE MY COMMENT (just my frustrations for both of them, but I still wanna read it but can't stomach how intense their fight escalated), they should just talk. They should just calm the f down and TALK. If not, they really should take a breather away from each other and reassess their relationship.

PS. Imma leave it here and hope the next time I reread this, it's gonna be a WELL-WRITTEN RECONCILIATION. Hoping for the talk and tons of apologies (towards each other).

Last take: I skimmed through the last chapter like it's a virus, lol. Jaehyuk seemed to be really eager to not hide away his feelings. But then again, that's just being insensitive, still. He's partly aware of why he thinks Garam is reacting that way, but not fully understand his feelings. Imma rescind my claim that he's still thinking as if he's dating "normally". He at least knew that, LOL, my bad. He just felt like it because of how stubborn he is.
