In ch 69, Kloff said that Rapiel will never come back. Is it about Rapiel the son? he was talking about his children growing up & leaving the house when he said this.
I was wondering if Rapiel is not coming back bcs he had learned the truth about Aeroc. That boy was looking at Aeroc's tombstone in ch 68
Yes, after he learned the truth about what Klopp had done to Aeroc, he left the house and set off on a vendetta-like journey against all those who hurt Aeroc, especially his father. He actually released a book detailing what Klopp had done and what happened to Aeroc. Everyone read it, the whole society looked at Klopp like he was a monster. All the people who abandoned Aeroc felt sick to their stomach at what had become of him. Marquess Wolflake, who was in love with the wife Rapiel in the first timeline (he was in despair after what happened to first Rapiel), actually fell in love with Rapiel (the son of Klopp and Aeroc). Rapiel (the son) used Wolflake to further destroy Klopp's reputation. Wolflake and Rapiel (the son) actually have a sexual relationship and both are using each other (the other to reminisce about his dead love and the other to spite his father). Rapiel (the son) doesn't actually love Wolflake, he is just with them to inflict the maximum amount of hurt to Klopp (seeing your kid hooking up with a man your age is definitely infuriating). Rapiel (the son) also knows Wolflake's part in Aeroc's demise so that's another reason why he will never love Wolflake. Basically, Rapiel went scorched earth on their asses.

My goodness, this is such an important detail that they deliberately skipped in the manhwa. It makes so much sense now what Wolflake's motivation was when he first told Klopp about Aeroc's involvement in Rapiel's death.
I was really curious if Klopp ever got punished for his crimes. Knowing that the high society shunned him and his own son despise him in the 1st timeline makes me satisfied (well, not really, but you know)

Klopp wasn't publicly shunned because at that point, he had already amassed great power and wealth for himself. But there are people who look at him differently and finally see what a monster he really was, including Wolflake. He was actually quite shocked at the fact that Klopp had named Rapiel after his dead wife. He actually said that naming him like that was a form of punishment (to Aeroc) and that Klopp really was a monster. This side story was just released this year. 10 years after the original work ended. Idk, I feel like there is a possibility that the author may make a timeline where the OG characters from the 1st timeline do meet. And when that time comes, I will definitely read it

Thanks for telling me all of this! As much as I hate Klopp's character, the story is undeniably well written (exactly my cup of tea lol). I'll try to read the novel later

It wasn’t really deliberately skipped in a way, more like they might adapt it in the future, as it happens after Second Kloffs time lime(side stories)
Also “ It makes so much sense now what Wolflake's motivation was when he first told Klopp about Aeroc's involvement in Rapiel's death.” I meannnnnn from Aerocs second life we see the Wolf guy all staring daggers at Kloff because he was supposedly “engaged to be” to Rapiel and when the engagement blew off Wolf guy married Rapiel and had a baby

When I said it makes sense, I skipped some of the early eps of season 2 (things were annoying lol), so I must've missed Wolflake's story. I should really reread season 2
It's unexpectedly so good. The premise might be nothing new, but I like how it's executed. At least the characters don't drag out their misunderstandings
I picked this up again after several years. I remember being so deep in my feelings for every character. My heart ached for what they had to go through. The story is so well written and everyone has depth to them. Hands down one of the best stories ever written.
The ml is pissing me off the whole time, no redeeming qualities whatsoever imo.
I agree with the other commenter about the 2nd ml not getting enough attention in the plot. He's definitely a much better person. I wish mc ended up with him instead.
NEW SIDE STORIES?!!? I legit was trying to recall the title of this manhwa, thought I'd lost track of it ever since the site went down back then. And today I got a notification of it I'm so happy
Reading this randomly and left impressed. When I check the author's other works, turns out it's the same author as define the relationship. No wonder the yearning and hurt/comfort are so good ╥﹏╥
Well, it might have been the author's intention all along—showing how twisted a deep-rooted obsession is. This story doesn't necessarily need a "happy ending". I guess that's the charm. But still, what the fuck man. I feel like I was left hanging with a gaping cliffhanger.
Makes sense. Never thought of it like that, but yeah some one obsessed like that there isn’t way he wouldn’t be able to have a good relationship with the protagonist.

Yes, I don't think they'll ever have a good relationship no matter how good Chahyeon is in hiding his obsession. I don't think he'll ever get rid of his obsessiveness either. I mean, even after multiple tragic deaths in their past lives, he's still rotten like that. He's beyond saving.
